This is my third annual calendar to promote Folk Music in North America.  My naked photo of the group Full Frontal Folk started the journey that has produced this calendar as well as the 2005 edition.  It has been quite a year!  What a privilege it has been to work with the folks in these calendars.  Everyone has been receptive, some a little nervous, but most relax quickly.  Quite a few musicians have asked to be included in a future calendar and I have tried to convince a few others! We will see what the future brings. Who knew I would be asking folks if they wanted to “get naked”.

One of my goals with this project is to raise money to supplement the high cost of health insurance that many musicians cannot afford.  So many issues in the news revolve around the cost of health insurance. Someday, maybe the government will figure it out and everyone will be entitled to the same health benefits. In the meantime, I will donate a portion of the profits on this calendar to a fund to assist with cost of health insurance for musicians.
